And we are out! Today is our last day of regular service. Back to regular Miss V from the 11/1/21. It’s been a wild few months post lockdown and we are all looking forward to a slower pace. Hopefully we can knock our wait list down in the new year! Thank you to those who supported the business and to those who donated to the temp visa holders staff members during lockdown. We are so appreciative and the support was just so overwhelming.

Cleaning up sorting and prepping for new adventure

Cleaning up sorting and prepping for new adventures. Looking forward to getting back into peoples homes and doing what we do best! The roadmap tells us it’s the 26th October and we are hoping that’s what happens. For now we are still servicing our regular apartment buildings, vacates, after builds and cleaning for those who are unable to do it themselves. It’s going to be a wild ride back in and much spring cleaning to do! We are still here and ready to get moving again x

Hi guys! I am Lidia Mizutani, nice to meet you. I'm Brazilian and I came to Melbourne to study English and start a new life here. I've been in Melbourne since March, just before all this Covid situation.

I started to work for Miss V in June. Since then it has been a pleasure to work for the company, because I could notice that she really cares with the satisfaction of the client, but also about the environment.

I like to work in Miss V because I can work in a good team and I trust in the organic products which we use.

Even with all the strugling situation for all, I'm so grateful for being in this country. People are nice, gentle and they really care with the environment.

Hi everyone! My name is Thiago.
After a few episodes of my life I decided to come from Brazil to Australia to study, improve my english. Also, start a new life project travelling around the world collecting and living new experiences.Then the covid came and messed up with everything. The situation became very bad and scary at the beginning but gladly I met Miss V who gave me an opportunity to work, and with that, hope. With that I could see a future. It is being a pleasure working with someone who cares so much with the environment and also for her employees. I'm very grateful for everything that is being done to help us all and I hope that this situation will be over soon and all of us can continue to live our lives normally! Pemra was relatively new to Miss V when the pandemic hit. Like many of our staff, it’s been tough being away from there families during this time. Pemra is a Temporary Visa holder and not eligible for payments like job keeper or job seeker. We are accepting donations through our website to be distributed between these staff members. Hello! My name is Pemra and I had started working with Miss V right before the pandemic began. I am proud to be part of the team and very inspired by the community minded (as well as ecologically ethical) business model we follow here. I am an ongoing trainee of the Alexander Technique School, and I'm hoping to complete my training despite the hardship we are all going through as I believe it is a valuable work for us all. I feel at home when I'm in the nature so I do lots of camping, climbing, hiking and cycling when I don't work or study :) I'm always looking for ways for us to live in harmony with each other and with others. One of my biggest dreams is to start an alternative 'living school' project where we create, experiment and learn together across different generations. I am grateful for the support and love I received here in this community for the last two years since I moved from Turkey, another magical land in which I was born.

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that Miss V hits pause on all residential cleans due to the Premier of Victoria’s announcement this week. Commencing from midnight tonight all house cleans will be suspended for the duration of Stage 4 lockdown.
Unfortunately for the Miss V crew this is the core part of our business. Although we also clean some small offices the majority of those have been on pause since lockdown 1.
We will however continuing cleaning and disinfecting the buildings we regularly attend.
We understanding that we are not the only business effected and hope that a strict lockdown will get the outcome we all desire.

This is hard for those working in the cleaning industry. And although part of my staff are on jobkeeper or jobseeker there’s still a significant portion of humans that are currently still not eligible for any adequate funding.
Temporary visa holders or international students make up a large part of our team.

If your financially able please make a donation through our website for these staff.

Link will be in bio to make a donation that will directly fund those staff members of my team. If the state or federal government pulls through and provides adequate financial assistance, I will redirect those donations to the ASRC.
